| Campers will learn the basics of Western riding including trail rides on their own personal horse! The horses will have bonding time with their campers which will include grooming, saddling and feeding. More advanced riders will learn goat roping, barrel racing, pole bending, rodeo lassoing and other types of gymkana.
Participants will have the option of attending an overnight camping trip, and yes they will bring their horse along! Overnight trips will vary from one to three nights in length depending on camper age, skill level and interest. A horse show at the end of camp will allow the riders to strut their stuff by displaying their new skills and talents. Campers will gallop home with a videotape of this memorable performance.
