| Learn English while you have fun this summer! In a program especially designed for international students, campers will develop their ability to speak, read, and write English in morning classes. Campers with limited or no English fluency will develop a proficiency in the language and an awareness of American culture.
In this total immersion setting, campers will also be given the opportunity to practice their English skills throughout the entire day. In the afternoon and evening, ESL participants join fellow campers for recreational activities where English fluency and cultural learning are encouraged through social interactions. Course content will include vocabulary, grammar, composition, and reading, with an emphasis on Conversational English. Campers with beginning and intermediate English skills are welcome. Campers will be evaluated and placed at a level suited just for them. ESL participants work with specially-trained teachers in small group settings during the morning hours.
