Transportation Options

Pali Adventures is located between 60 and 95 miles from Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties. Parents have the option of bringing their campers to camp, taking advantage of our charter bus service (in LA and Orange Counties) or using one of our two airport pickup services either at Los Angeles International (LAX) or Ontario.

Charter Bus

Los Angeles
Pali Adventures offers charter bus service from the Federal Building (Visitor Parking Lot C) in Westwood just off Wilshire Blvd., between Sepulveda Blvd. and Veteran Ave. Take the 405 Freeway and exit west on Wilshire Blvd. towards Westwood. The Federal Building is on the right.

Orange County
Pali Adventures offers charter bus service from the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. Meet in the back of the parking lot by the Club House Restaurant ,next to Robinsons-May.

Buses depart to camp on Sundays exactly at 12:00 noon. Please arrive 15 minutes early for check in. Campers should eat lunch prior to departures as the next meal will be dinner.

Buses will return to the original pickup spot on Saturdays at 12:00 noon. The price for the charter bus is $40 one way or $80 round trip.

Airport Service

Those campers who utilize airline travel have the option of Ontario Airport or LAX. Ontario is the preferred airport since it is closer to camp and requires a shorter trip than LAX.

Ontario Airport
Pali Adventures offers airport service on check-in days and check-out days. The price for transportation for Ontario Airport is $40 one way or $80 round trip (Rate is $150 on non-check-in or check-out days).

LAX Airport
Pali Adventures offers airport service on check-in days and check-out days. The price of transportation for LAX Airport is $60 one way or $100 round trip (Rate is $150 on non-check-in or check-out days).

Driving to Camp

We invite parents to join us for a tour & refreshments on the 1st day of the session. Please arrive at 2:00 pm. At the end of the session, please pick up your camper at 11:00 am.

Driving Directions From Los Angeles

1. (I-10) Freeway east to CA-30 towards Mountain Cities/Running Springs.

2. Bear right on ramp at sign reading "CA-330 N to Mtn Resorts" and continue on CA-330 Northeast for 15 miles.

3. Take exit ramp on right at sign reading "Running Springs" and go East for 600 feet until you come to a yield sign. (if you go under an overpass at anytime, you have just passed the Running Springs exit and are on your way to Big Bear.)

4. Turn hard left on CA-18, Rim of the World Hwy and go northwest towards Lake Arrowhead.

6. Go for exactly 2.7 miles on CA-18, then turn right at Pali Mountain. (Please obey 15-mph speed limit).
