Internet-Enhanced Physician Practices Deploying a PACS: Issues to consider Application Service Provider PACS: Analyzing Costs of Service Towards A New World of Communications in Medicine
Mission Statement |
COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORTAt this level, service includes a toll-free support line available 24 hours a day. Through end-to-end fault isolation, the service center is able to reduce downtime for clients. Comprehensive support covers networks, data storage, and modality interfaces, as well as user errors and third-party telecommunications. Remote network management allows the monitoring of network performance. Remote training of system users can also be conducted, and system performance is tracked and reported (as is eMed's performance in addressing service concerns). Image quality is evaluated; workstations and image-acquisition devices are calibrated and aligned to produce the best images obtainable. |
