David Lena, producer of the upcoming I Love Dogs Expo, created the online forum knowing that the majority of the temporary living arrangements for those who lost homes in the fires will not allow pets. Said Lena, “This is our way to reach out to families whose lives have been impacted by these tragic fires. It is our hope that Southern California’s compassionate dog lovers will create loving homes for these displaced dogs for as long as these families need to re-build their lives.”
